Is the $2000.00 difference from the TC 30 to TC 33 worth it.
Why is the TC 33 superior other than just a couple of horsepower and appearance?

Everything was updated from the 17XX to the new boomer line. But the TC-30 is and was a good tractor. The new series has a little better access on and off the tractor and the location of controls but if the TC-30 is comfortable for you then?
I might rather spend the extra on the hydro trans and the independent PTO which will definately make a difference.
Cheers ....

My New Holland dealer told me the same about the engine being the same in both models. You get some different features in the 33 that are nice but not absolutely necessary. By the way the D designation is no more as I was told today the name is now TC33N and it was written up that way on my quote. ....

I was out tractor dreaming the other day and had the exact same question regarding the engines. After close under hood inspections it turns out that a tag on the engines indicate that they are from the same "engine family", but have different model numbers. ....

Yep, I was told that the TC30 and TC33 share the same
engine but have different fuel systems or fuel settings.
My dealer showed me that the TC33 has vibration dampening
motor mounts and the TC30 does not. I have also been told
that the old TC25 and TC29 shared a common engine with the
only difference being in the fuel system. Also, when I bought my TC30 Hydro, the difference in price compared to a
TC33D was $2,800. $15,100 for TC30 HYdro, loader, turfs.
$17,900 for TC33D hydro, loader, turfs.

Realman the best thing to do is go try both tractors. I considered both but, after trying both I thought the 33 was much better. You may think otherwise but, try for youself. I definitly thought the 33 was worth the differance. ....

The TC30 is what got me into looking at tractors at my NH dealer. That is what it is intended to do. It is a very capable tractor at a good price. But, when you get to the dealer, you start looking at all the other models to. After my initial visit, I found that I wanted a larger model with some of the updated features but I still bought NH.
I keep vehicles and equipment for a long time and maintain them well. With that in mind, I generally go for a more upgraded unit and some of the extra features that make long term ownership more pleasurable. ....
